After a long hiatus

Seven months is a long time to go without writing on a blog... so much happened that i didn't give my own twist to. I am back and am promising myself that i will try and write at least a post a week.

Now on some thots i didn't put a pen on- 

The big whoosh called Obama (well my bubble has burst)

Dr. Manmohan Singh is back as PM (yippee to that)

The American war on terror (my pet peeve) is moving closer home (scary)

The Delhi high court's historical ruling on decriminalizing sex between consenting adults, irrespective of gender (hurrah)

Indian government's decision to introduce GM food crops into the market in the next three years (Cotton was bad enough, GM food is a terrible terrible solution to hunger-more to come on this)

The ruling on Prof. Sabharwal murder case (how much lower can governance stoop)

The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (Touching new levels of corruption everyday)

Dr.Binayak Sen's release on bail (i am confused can i be happy about his bail if i am still outraged at his arrest)

The soap operas and reality shows on Indian Television (the former are increasingly regressive and the latter too many & too badly produced) 

The delayed or missing Monsoon (tragic)

My new studio (LOVE IT)

I am sure i have missed a number of other important stuff, I'll add them as i remember or get reminded...
